[u]Work/Volunteer Experience:[/u]
We volunteered teaching junior curling at VCC for 2 years and helped out at numerous curling community events. We also volunteered at the 2004 Karcher Junior Canadian Curling Championships and the 2005 Men’s World Curling Championships as statititions, and with team services.

We are all currently employed instructors at Victoria Curling Club running/teaching the Greater Victoria School District’s curling programs, the Greater Victoria High School Curling League, recreational leagues and the VCC Junior Program. We have helped run several intermediate curling clinics. In addition, we have coached high profile teams such as Korea's Junior National Mens and Womens teams.

[b]2005 Team Goals:[/b]

- Improve on our already strong team dynamics
- Focus on mental toughness and resilience
- Enter at least 3 men's bonspeils before junior playdowns
- Utilize our season experience (training, bonspiels and league play) to win the BC Junior Provincial Championships and, ultimately, the 2006 Karcher Junior Canadian Championships
- Use our experience and knowledge to spread the sport of curling through our many instructing and volunteering commitments.

[b]Training Schedule:[/b]

Our training schedule includes 3 team practices, 2 individual practices and 1 game (Victoria Select League) per week. We will be conditioning throughout the season by running and working out multiple times a week. Furthermore, we will be adhering to a strict sleep and nutrition plan.

Due to unknow spring shedules/budget, our post-provincial playdown shedule has not yet been fully determined. However, we expect to be in numerous competitions all spring.[/color]

We believe that there is more to being a succesfull curling team than winning bonspiels. Through volunteering/working at events and helping other teams we have always commited ourselves to the betterment of curling - something your association obviously also prides itself on achieving. For this reason, we think we are a team that can represent your name extremely well. With or without this sponsorship we expect to have a very competitive and extremely successful curling season, however this sponsorship would definately lessen the financial burden.
