TEAM RHONDA VARNES

Summary

Thank you for taking the time to review our proposal. As you will see, a brand new force in Womens Curling is currently seeking support for the 2005 / 06 Manitoba curling season. The newly created Team Varnes brings together four rising stars in the sport, ready and able to take on the world of womens curling. Because this is a brand new team, there exist a number of limited ground floor sponsorships that we believe will deliver huge rewards in the coming season and beyond.

We are four young women who love the sport of curling, and are determined to do our best each time we step out on the ice. We are a team with great chemistry on and off the ice, and are looking forward to taking on some of the best teams Manitoba has to offer throughout the season.

We will do our best to showcase the support of our sponsors on and off the ice. It is with your support that new and young teams like ourselves are given the opportunity to show the world what we are capable of.

Our Goals

Our major goal for the 2005 / 2006 season is to be recognized as one of the best 'up and coming' teams in Womens Curling.

Our secondary goals for the season include winning and representing our zone at the 2006 Manitoba Scott Tournament of Hearts in Thompson, and qualifying in several of the bonspiels / cashpiels we have entered in an attempt to participate in the MCT Playdowns.

The Importance of Sponsorship

As we all know, expenses accumulate very quickly for a competitive curling team. Entry fees. Hotel rooms. Travel costs. Equipment. As a competitive team in Manitoba, we would very much appreciate the financial support offered through this contest. The sponsorship would allow us to build on our experience and skills by competing in number of competitive bonspiels without the stress of worrying about the financial obligations that are a part of the game for a competitive curler.

We are a team full of drive and determination, and if you give us the chance, we will show you what we are capable of.

If you have any comments or questions, please post and we will do our best to address them.
